PRICING
Pricing varies depending on the type of painting I am creating. As a general rule, my pricing is as follows:
Pet Portraits – $2.00 per square inch of canvas or canvas paper.
Personal Portraits – $3.00 per square inch of canvas.
Land and Sea – $2.00 per square inch of canvas or canvas paper.
Tall Ships – $3.00 per square inch of canvas paper only.
Nature – $2.00 per square inch of canvas or canvas paper.
Designs – Price may vary depending on the size, theme, and detail.
FRAMING
If you prefer, I will have the painting professionally framed for you at cost with no mark-up. I can give you an estimate of the framing. If my estimate is under the actual cost of the framing, I will use my estimate as the price of framing. With pet portraits I paint either on a stretched canvas or on canvas paper. For small pet portraits, I recommend canvas paper and have the portrait matted and framed, which includes glass. For larger pet portraits I prefer a stretched canvas and framed with no matting or glass cover. Personal portraits are painted on stretched canvas.
PAYMENT
I require 50% payment in advance. When the painting is complete, I will send you a photo for your approval. Upon approval, I will mail the painting upon receipt of the balance of payment – which will include the framing cost. If you are not satisfied with the painting, I will return 50% of your original advance.
